THE ART OF RECORDMAKING: What Day Are We On?

december seventh, two thousand nine
5:48p

midnight choir was really great. i'm waiting to get the pictures we had done back before i post in detail about it. for now i'm giving you this one to hold you over.

friday, we had Jaron Pitts over to play cello on "Picardy Devil." it really added alot to the track. sweet sweet haunting orchestral sounds...

today, we have miss Emotion Brown in here doing some soulful background stuff for us. Mo is such a cool lady, such good vibes. damn good singer, and a damn good writer while i'm at it.

having a great time, it's a shame you can't all be here to see it. lately i've been FULLY immersed in getting this record done, and it's been a positive thing.

after all remember what Uncle Charlie Darwin said:

"A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life."

so with that in mind we're pressing on. should be finished tracking within a week or so. then onto the process of looking for a grand ol' mix engineer.

i'll post will bolton's photos from the night of the midnight choir

until then,
KB

  1. nothin' like some good ol' 'blackground' vocals to make it good and soulful..i know i've said this a hundred times, but i really can't wait for this record.
